Once we have a better idea of the services to be provided, we will review the legal fees and costs, and in appropriate cases, work out a payment plan.

Attorney Profile:

Rob Goldman was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. After graduating first in his final year class at the University of Cape Town, he worked for two years in South Africa, before immigrating to Baltimore. An honors graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, Rob Goldman was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1986, and the Washington D. C. Bar in 1988.

In 1990, after working for several large Baltimore law firms, Rob Goldman opened his own practice so that he could serve his clients better, and more cost effectively. A trained arbitrator and mediator, Rob Goldman strongly believes in a cooperative approach to conflict avoidance and dispute resolution.

As a member of the National Academay of Elder Law Attorneys, Rob Goldman shares the view that an attorney's practice should include meaningful legal services available to the elderly, disabled and the less fortunate.

For Rob Goldman, there is life beyond the office. Leisure time includes quality family activities, and squash, tennis, horse riding, camping and lawn bowls.

Our clients understand that comparison price shopping, while sometimes helpful to get a general idea of prices, can be misleading, because it often is not an accurate measure of the quality of the legal experience and expertise devoted to ones needs.

We serve clients nationally and internationally who have family or property in Maryland and need local counsel.

Fee Policy:

Our fees are based on a variety of factors, and are set to reflect fair value for the service we provide and the benefit you derive. Hourly billing provides little incentive to work efficiently and most of our clients feel more comfortable with a flat fee.

As a general rule, we charge a consulting fee to review your rights and options, and then quote a flat fee once we agree on what you want us to do for you. We enter into written engagement agreements in all cases to avoid any misunderstanding as to the services to be provided and the fees.
